PRODUCTION OF POLYTHENT TILES

19th century world is not only the basic for the development of science but also the beginning of polluting the planet earth. It has been proved in many ways. The development of science in the field of medical, motor mechanical, industrials has made the world equally polluted by its chemical wastage. Polythene is one of the pollutes damaging the earth. Polythene can be neither vanished nor banished. It theaters the humanity. But the steps taken to abolish polythene became vain. So we tried to use the polythene to protect the earth and people. Thus we have successes to make polythene a new protective product. It is nothing but a mixture of polythene content and sand
Become of our research the harmful polythene products will be collected and it will be used to produce Polythent tile. Polythent is made when the mixture of 1 Kg polythene is mixed with ½ kg cement, sand. The useless and polluting Polythene is collected and used to produce a useful Polythent tile. The Polythent tiles can be used for flooring and for road construction. It is proved that the hardness of the Polythent various according the mixture percentage. it is imperative that the mixture leave should be correct.

It we produce polythent tiles, small industrial and economical condition will improve. The Government should motivate the people to collect Polythene wastage to produce polythent tiles. The Government may ask the people to collect wasted polythene and purchase it from them. The will wishes and social service minded people can create awareness among the people to develop country’s economy. Construction Polythent producing stations in small and big cities we can reduce the air pollution to save our ozone. we can keep the soil fertile and prevent the cattle’s dying due to Polythene.

INTRODUCTION :

The development of science in the field of medical, motor mechanical, industrials has made the world equally polluted by its chemical wastage. Polythene is one of the pollutes damaging the earth. Polythene can be neither vanished nor banished. It theaters the humanity. But the steps taken to abolish polythene became vain. So we tried to use the polythene to protect the earth and people. Thus we have successes to make polythene a new protective product. It is nothing but a mixture of polythene content and sand.

OBJECTIVES:
Polythene usage has increased day by day. Soon it will engulf the whole, since the management and usage have been great in numbers.

1. Being the first in polluting the earth, endearing the people and all living things the immoral polythene must be displaced.
2. Even though we can it reduce the usage of polythene products. We wanted to find a way to resist its spreading and using water resistant power and the state of non-degradation can be changed into constructive purpose.
3. Wasted polythene products will be collected by more employment can be had. Wasting the polythene products will be reduced. The wasted polythene goods can be used for constructive purpose. So that we can produce long standing quality products. We can improve our economical standard. We were motivated to do this research for these causes.


WORK PLAN:
1. Polythene polluting the farm lands and the earth collected for this purpose.
2. Omitting the unwanted things from the polythene goods.
3. Weighting the collected Polythene goods.
4. Collecting alternative things to polythene in order to produce a new equipment.
5. Since it is alert polythene safety methods should be taken. Polythene cement and sand are mixed according to the required needs.
6. Polythene and the cement mixture is combined to the required percentage.
7. Calculating the reliability of the mixture depending on its percentage.
8. A distract place is selected for research to avoid the pollution and smoke when we do it we tied cloth on face for safety.
9. Calculating the possible expenses for the research.

METHODOLOGY:
‘Polythent’ is named since it is made form the mixture of Polythene, cement and soil. We would like to use ‘POLYTH’ form polythene and ‘ENT’ from Cement.

MELTING FURNACE:
Melting furnace is set up with a piece of iron sheet on a stove.

MELTING:
Two kilo of polythene taken from the collection. It is put into the furnace. When it is heated it become liquid after some time.

MIXING CEMENT AND SOIL :
The mixture of cement and soil is mixed the polythene liquid as noted in the table. When the items are mixed for same times with the iron bar, we get ash coloured Polythene Paste.



MOULDING :
The Polythent Paste is poured into some shape as what we want and it is made to our needs

COOLING THE MOULDINGS
The moulded thing is kept in water for 20 minutes and then it is cooled.
FORMING THE POLYTHENT TILE :
The moulded Polythent tiles is taken out from water after 20 minutes. When we knock it backside we can feel and see hard and Polished Polythene tiles.

HARDNESS OF POLYTHENE TILE:
The hardness of the Polythent is treated and noted at every tert in the table.

EXPERIMENT ON THE BASIS OF ITS PERCENTAGE

Test 1 :
2 Kg Polythene and ¼ kg of cement and sand mixed
Test 2:
2 Kg Polythene and ½ kg of cement and sand mixed
Test 3 :
2 Kg Polythene and ¾ kg of cement and sand mixed
Test 4:
2 Kg Polythene and 1 kg of cement and sand mixed

The hardness of the polythene is treated after 2kg polythene mixed with certain percentage of cement and soil. it has been noted in the table ( See Table 2)

EXPENDITURE OF PRODUCING POLYTHENT:

Manufacturing materials : 13.50
Manufacturing wages : 14.50
Extra Expenditures : 2.00

Total : 30.00

RESEARCH AND DATA ANALYSIS :
‘Polythent’ a new product can be made in our research. Polythent’s (Polythene + Cement + Sand ) hardness varies according to the mixture of cement. it is understood that it gives a positive result.

THE COLLECTED POLYTHENE IS NOTED AREA WISE
Ø Since Polythene wastage is collected from farm lands and other place are kept clean.
Ø The non degraded polythene is mixed with cement soil mixture and we can produce a useful, polished polythent tiles for constructive purpose.
Ø It is noted that a waste polythene becomes a useful hard polythent tiles to save us.

Only 5 Rupees is spent to produce a square feet Polythent tile.

CONCLUSION :
Become of our research the harmful polythene products will be collected and it will be used to produce Polythent tile.

SUGGESTION:
The Government should motivate the people to collect Polythene wastage to produce Polythent tiles.

The Government may ask the people to collect wasted polythene and purchase it from them.

The will wishes and social service minded people can create awareness among the people to develop country’s economy.

Construction Polythent producing stations in small and big cities we can reduce the air pollution to save our ozone.

we can keep the soil fertile and prevent the cattle’s dying due to Polythene.

FOLLOW – UP ACTIVITIES :
We try to colour the Polythent in order to increase its value of productivity.

We collect the wasted polythene products in our place and environment is kept clean. our village looks beautiful
